SJV Consulting Engineers was founded by Samuel Verghese in 2018 and is based on the Mornington Peninsula. With over 13 years of experience in civil and structural engineering, Samuel is a highly skilled engineer and the driving force behind the business. He leads a dedicated team while remaining closely involved in every project.
SJV is known for its attention to detail, strong communication, and collaborative approach. We work closely with builders, architects, and clients to deliver high-quality, practical and compliant engineering solutions tailored to each project.

Samuel enjoys solving complex engineering challenges and is passionate about delivering practical, well-considered solutions for his clients. He takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping bring projects to life from concept through to completion. Outside of work, he enjoys running, playing soccer and spending quality time with his wife and two children.

Benjamin Albert
Ben is an integral member of the SJV team, bringing strong technical expertise, sound judgement and a commitment to delivering quality outcomes. He is known for his calm demeanour, attention to detail and willingness to support both colleagues and clients.
In his downtime, Ben enjoys basketball, playing bass guitar and contributing to the local community through volunteering.

Shannen Verghese
Shannen oversees the administration and bookkeeping functions of SJV, helping to keep the business organised, efficient and running smoothly behind the scenes. Known for her friendly nature and genuine care for people, she is often the first point of contact for clients and consultants. Outside of work, she enjoys cycling, singing and spending time with family and friends.

Ash is a motivated engineer with a strong technical mindset and a practical, considered approach to engineering design. He is a valued and vibrant member of the SJV team, known for his strong work ethic and good sense of humour.
